Before we get started... We will gather background information such as a survey or house plans to facilitate the design. Depending on the scope of works, a Detailed Survey prepared by a qualified surveyor may be required to provide accurate site information.

Initial site consultation meeting
The meeting creates the opportunity to develop the design brief in detail and discuss possible landscape outcomes. The consultation will take approximately 1 hour to complete at a fixed fee of $180.00.

Landscape Sketch Plans
Landscape Sketch Plans are the first step in developing the design layout and vision for the property. A plan(s) at an appropriate scale will be produced, along with design imagery, planting style and materials palette. A scale plan of the existing house or property may be required depending on client requirements. LH Studio will take site measurements to determine approximate dimensions.

Detailed Landscape Plans / DA Landscape Plans
Detailed Landscape Plans are computer drafted and illustrate the design to scale, along with typical details and planting layouts if required. Some projects may require submission for approval as part of a Development Application. A Detailed Survey prepared by a qualified surveyor may be required to provide accurate site information as per approval requirements.

Landscape Construction Documentation / CC Landscape Plans
Landscape Construction drawings may be required for clients who want to ensure the design is built exactly as intended. Drawings may include detailed set out, material finishes, detailed planting layout including plant quantities, and lighting concepts. Landscape Construction drawings may also be suitable for Construction Certificate (CC) lodgement depending on design complexity and approval requirements. A Detailed Survey prepared by a qualified surveyor may be required to provide accurate site information as per approval requirements.

Hourly rate
An hourly rate of $120.00 per hour will apply to services with no defined scope.

General exclusions

Printing costs
Structural design and certification of landscape elements (paving, retaining walls etc.)
Electrical, lighting and irrigation design
Pool detailed design
Arborist and soil technician advice
Appointment of sub-consultants

Schedule of Rates PRICE INCREASE 1ST JULY 2023
LH Studio will prepare a fixed price fee proposal for your individual project after the initial site consultation meeting. The Schedule of Rates file has been prepared in good faith to provide an approximate price guide for typical projects.
